Very dark ruby colour with purple rim. Balsamic aroma with hints of fresh red fruit, blackberry, cassis, ripe bilberry and leather and spices, slightly smoky cinnamon and caramel. In the mouth, there is red fruit, deep, intense and fresh with structure present with very soft tannins tamed by the time of ageing. Super smooth old world palate following the nose with very ripe fruit, matching acidity and moderate alcohol. Long finish. 22 months ageing in 225l oak barrels.
