Vallado Sousåo 2016

It has the intense color typical of the grape variety, but the aroma is surprisingly elegant and fine. Very concentrated, with balsamic oak notes, black fruits, tobacco and spices. The mouth confirms the polished and refined profile, with a beautiful fruity presence of red berries and an acidic freshness that gives a lot of liveliness and shine to the finish. Full bodied, fleshy with an excellent acidity, long fresh finish with black fruits note. A Sousão of unusual balance and elegance.

Fermented and aged in 225 litres French Oak barrique for 18 months. The barriques were 40% new and 60% used (2nd year).
