Very beautiful aroma, all red fruit and spice. Some ripe cherry, black plum, blackberry, and a touch of the barrel in the background. Beautiful acidity in the mouth, half mouth, retaining good flavour, fresh fruit even though the aroma predicted, ripe and elegant tannin. Cheerful and simultaneously serious and very consistent. Aged 10 months in French oak barrels.
